When we were teenagers' many of us most often heard our friends comments about this age-old construct.-Some call it vain, while others regard this simply as an added way to love oneself or part of the trigger to love someone perceived as beautiful, pretty or cute.. or that beauty is in the eye of the beholder... maybe these are all good attempts to describe beauty but how is it really defined? Here's my 10cents on this. Read on! :)
Well, I guess it was one of my former college professors (Mr. Lualhati Bautista - a good writer in his regard) who more of less put me on the right track of understanding this word in the right context.
So after all the hullas, 'beauty' is defined as a construct, or characteristic of people, animals, objects and things that define such entities and beings as "complete", a state which provides the experience of pleasure and satisfaction for intelligent beings in a particular life and times... (ie. a human being is beautiful when he or she shows the defined characteristic of first a human that is complete in body parts, and then showing the physical and accepted emo of a particular context where the person is in or at...)
